His Random Mana

by Rory A.A. Hinton

Sexus

"I have found God, but he is insufficient." (Henry Miller)

One day,
Old and gray
Matter scarred.
Two dazed
Bitter moons
Consumed by air and fire.
Writer for permanent hire
And higher up we raised
This spiritual spire.
Resurrection.
Resurrection.
Resurrection after
Resurrection:
     Making words
     Making worlds
     Making love
     Making life
Breaking spells,
To hell with this ...
... this ...
     beyond god and devil,
     beyond good and evil,
     beneath,
     between,
     behind ...
Behold!
Time waits for this man
Eating his random mana.
